About the Meridian

Meridian is Houston's favorite Downtown concert, party and special events venue. Located at 1503 Chartres, on the 59 feeder between Leeland and Bell, across from the Brown Convention Center and Toyota Center, the Venue is right in the heart of the newest up and coming section of downtown. Meridian opens the door early so you don't have to stand outside in line. Come in, cool off, have a drink, and meet your friends at the Meridian. The Meridian has three rooms that can be rented separately or as a package to handle a variety of events. The rooms are on the second floor with a panoramic view of Houston's beautiful skyline providing a dramatic backdrop. If you would like to own Meridian for the day and create your own event, call for information or check here for Rental Information on The Meridian.

Smoking Area

boc.jpg Best Live Music Venue CitySearch Audience Winner

"This much-needed addition to the Houston live-music scene is located in a prime section of downtown, just across from the convention center. Divided into three areas, Meridian's main warehouse-style room houses the stage, capacity for close to 1,000, and a stellar sound system. A smaller lounge, known as the Red Room, exudes Middle Eastern charm with curtained divans, pillows and dim lighting. The smaller VIP room is cozy for conversation." City Search
